Ignoring evidence is unethical

A person ignores evidence either by refusing to know the evidence, or by refusing to believe/act in accordance with the evidence he already knew.

To refuse to know the evidence is to be willfully ignorant. To refuse to believe/act in accordance with the evidence is to be biased and unfair. Both are intentional choices to disregard and disrespect truth.

Therefore a person who ignores evidence is unethical.
